🧡 Help Us Fill the Freezer at Walton Empowers! 🧡

We’re asking our community to help stock our deep freezer with easy meals that individuals can grab, heat, and enjoy while spending time at our recovery support center.

Some great donation ideas include:

🍽️ Frozen meals and TV dinners
🍕 Frozen pizzas
🥪 Hot Pockets
🍳 Jimmy Dean chicken or sausage biscuits and breakfast sandwiches
🍗 Other individually portioned, easy-to-heat frozen foods

A warm meal and a welcoming place can make a difference in someone’s day. Whether you donate a few meals or a whole box, every contribution helps! 💛

Donations can be dropped off, shipped, or delivered directly to our office. You can also contact Courtney to arrange pickup!

💙 Walton Empowers is featured by the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS)!

Their article, “Expanding Peer Recovery Services in Rural Georgia: A Recovery Community Organization’s Approach,” highlights our work to help individuals and families access recovery support through peer services, transportation, and partnerships across health care, reentry, and family support.

What began with lived experience and a vision for our community continues to grow through compassion, connection, and people showing up for one another.

A special thank you to our Executive Director and Co-Founder, Courtney Wright, for sharing our story with CHCS and for her continued leadership, advocacy, and dedication to individuals and families affected by addiction. Her lived experience and heart for this community help turn a vision of hope into meaningful recovery support every day.
