NELA Youth Est. 2020 Our mission is to inspire young individuals to recognize and embrace their God-given potential while fulfilling their divine purpose.

NELA Youth mentors and supports at-risk children by meeting them where they are, building relationships, and guiding them toward positive life choices through faith, encouragement, and consistent community outreach. We are dedicated to helping them uncover their identity in Christ and tap into the greatness within themselves. This is accomplished through building meaningful relationships and guiding them to understand the essence of Christ’s heart. We offer mentorship to youth who are navigating a variety of challenges, such as poverty, violence, s*x trafficking, abuse, neglect, and parental incarceration. Our goal is to foster enduring relationships with these children and their families, providing them with essential life skills that empower them to escape cycles of dependency. This process enables them to evolve into leaders and agents of change in the world.

We kicked off our day with some exercise, hitting the trails for a little walking and fresh air! 🚶‍♂️🌿 Then we headed down to the lake, where some of our boys enjoyed fishing while the rest of us had fun playing Go Fish! 🐟🃏

Sometimes the simplest outings create the best memories! Getting outdoors, staying active, building friendships, and enjoying time together are all part of what NELA Youth is about! 💜💛
