Beginning in mid-October (after Fall Fest on 10/10), the parking lot located at the intersection of West Spring Street and South Wayne Street will be closed for construction to provide for additional parking in the downtown area. There will be the realignment of the existing lot, as well as additional spaces added to the property, sidewalk improvements, stormwater drainage elements put in place, and lighting improvements.

Overall, the property will see an approximate increase of 45 spaces added to include additional handicap spaces and charging stations.

Further updates and exact timelines will be provided closer to construction dates.
