🎉 Tot Town is tomorrow—weather permitting! 🎉

Join us from 9:00 AM–11:30 AM for a fun-filled morning designed especially for children ages 1–5.

We plan to have:
-Water play in our sensory station
- Ice play activities
- Plenty of age-appropriate play opportunities
- A chance for little ones to make new friends

Tot Town provides a safe and fun space where young children can explore, play, and learn through hands-on activities. Parents can relax and enjoy watching their children play without having to worry about the mess!

Older siblings are welcome too. Older siblings can help guide play. They can enjoy the nearby public playground, and if they're able to bring a bike or scooter, there are great paved paths in the area to ride on.

There's something for everyone at Tot Town. Come check us out and see why families are loving this special community playtime

Just put some extra Garden plants on the stand. Honey dew Melons, cantaloupe, Sugar Baby watermelon, OxHeart tomatoes and a couple cabbage

Suzanne will be at the garden to finish plantings this evening. (5:00 PM-ish) Anyone interested in volunteering and needing instruction can meet with her there. Can always use more help! Take a walk through your beautiful garden, and if something needs done, please take the time and do it if you can! It’s rewarding and gratifying to be a part of this wonderful community project.🧑‍🌾🤗👨‍🌾

VOLUNTEERS:
1. CONTINUOUS WEEDING is important during this time, and we can start weeding between plants in the rows .
2. WATERING thoroughly of new seeds and plantings is important in this heat to develop good root systems and germination of seeds.
3. Don’t forget to water the FLOWERS , too. Dead-head flowers as needed.

Our Friends of the Library plant sale continues this week. There are still some beautiful plants available. $3 each or 2 for $5

Are your perennials getting too big? Splitting them up is a great way to keep your garden looking nice and even to share with friends! Just make sure it's the right season to do it before you start digging. 🌱

🎨 Who likes to paint?
The harvest stand at the square still needs a fresh coat of paint! Before we can get started, it will need to be hosed off and allowed to dry completely.
If you're interested in helping with this community project, please reach out. We'd love to have a few volunteers lend a hand and help get the stand looking great! 😊

🌱🎨 Community Garden Handprint Project 🎨🌱

To thank all of our volunteers who have helped—and those who still want to help—we're inviting everyone to add a painted handprint and sign their name on the garden bench!

Our community garden is only possible because of the many hands that come together to make it grow. We want the bench to be a lasting reminder of everyone who has contributed their time, effort, and support.

I'll have paint with me whenever I'm at the garden, so feel free to stop by and add your handprint to the bench. Let's cover the bench with colorful handprints and show just how many people have helped make this garden a success! 💚🌻🤝

🌻 Volunteers Needed! 🌻

We are looking for a few volunteers to help keep our flowers and garden thriving!

The flowers that were recently planted will need to be watered every two days to help them get established and, hopefully, discourage the little critters from eating anymore plants.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with the community garden by:
💧 Watering
🌱 Weeding

The garden will need more attention during the coming week.
