You can trust me with ANY car. While I'll admit when I first pulled it in I was very nervous about working on an actual classic car, it was extremely calming and pleasing to see the paint come back to life on this completely restored 1963 Pontiac Catalina.
Backstory: the owner of this immaculate Catalina was given it by his grandfather in 1985. The car was purchased off the lot brand new by his grandfather in 63 and driven as the family unit until he parked it and left it to rot. The car had significant frame and body rust/damage to the entire passenger side. When the current owner was given it he set out to make his grandpas car once again roadworthy. Fast forward to 2023 when he was ready for a fresh new paint job. The body shop he took it to did a fantastic job at laying the paint, however it had tons of dirt in it that needed to be buffed out. While wiping it down after they got the dirt out, they used dirty rags and put incredibly deep scratches in the fresh paint job but acted like they knew nothing about it. Frustrated, the owner said he'll deal with it on his own (mistake). After attempting to fix it with some over the counter polish and a random pads, he put a ton of swirl marks in the fresh paint. With deep scratches and swirl marks he decided to cut his losses and bring it to us and I did what I do best 😎
With roughly 15 hours in this job consisting of buffing, cutting, polishing and waxing, I was amazed with the results and so was the customer!
