Project 2.5+ was honored to be invited to the Hope Starts Here event in Baton Rouge today, hosted by Focus on the Family, DCFS, and Bethany Church. 💙

We were so thankful to worship, learn, pray, and connect with church leaders, ministry leaders, government leaders, and community partners from across our state. We were also grateful to participate in the Suitcase Bundle Packing Serve Event and bring home bundles for the foster children and families we serve! 🧳

And an extra special shoutout to our very own, Adrienne, who spent her BIRTHDAY serving alongside us today! 🥳💙 We are so thankful for her and the heart she brings to this ministry! Happy birthday Adrienne!

What a beautiful day of serving, learning, and growing together! 💙🙏

A huge THANK YOU to Paron Baptist Church in Sterlington for coming and serving with us! ❤️

They helped us begin the overwhelming task of transitioning our clothing from spring to winter. It’s a BIG job, but when we all work together, it becomes so much more manageable!

We are so grateful for churches like Paron Baptist who are willing to show up, serve, and help meet practical needs in our community. Thank you for giving your time and helping make a difference! We couldn’t do it without you! 💙

We are so thankful for these students who took time to serve Project 2.5 by making blankets for children in foster care.

As they worked, we had the opportunity to talk about who these blankets are for and why something as simple as a blanket can mean so much to a child walking through a challenging season.

Big thank you to Lauren Thomas Hodge for this idea and the fleece!

We are so thankful for Little Waymakers and their generous support of Project 2.5+! 💙

Not only are they helping teach children what it looks like to love and serve like Jesus through their amazing curriculum, but they’re also putting those lessons into action by giving back to support children in foster care.

Thank you, Little Waymakers, for making a difference and for partnering with us to love and care for vulnerable children. We are so grateful for your generosity! 💙
