Project 2.5+ at North Monroe

We are so thankful for these students who took time to serve Project 2.5 by making blankets for children in foster care.

As they worked, we had the opportunity to talk about who these blankets are for and why something as simple as a blanket can mean so much to a child walking through a challenging season.

📚🎒 Back-to-School Support for Foster Families! 🎒📚

Project 2.5+ is excited to partner with Ouachita Valley Credit Union and the North American Mission Board, Send Relief Serve Tour to present our annual Back-to-School Bash!

This year, we will have two opportunities for foster families to receive support as they prepare for the new school year:

📍 July 25 | 9:00–11:00 AM
Drive-Thru School Supply Pickup
At Project 2.5+ - 4280 Sterlington Rd. Monroe, LA
Hosted in partnership with Ouachita Valley Credit Union

📍 August 22 | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Open Shop & Uniform Pickup
At Project 2.5+ - 4280 Sterlington Rd. Monroe, LA
Hosted in partnership with the North American Mission Board, Send Relief Serve Tour

August 22 will be an incredible day as hundreds of volunteers serve throughout Monroe at multiple locations, demonstrating the love of Christ through practical acts of service in our community.

We are so grateful to Ouachita Valley Credit Union and the North American Mission Board, Send Relief Serve Tour for partnering with us to help make the transition back to school a little easier for foster families.

We are so thankful for Little Waymakers and their generous support of Project 2.5+! 💙

Not only are they helping teach children what it looks like to love and serve like Jesus through their amazing curriculum, but they’re also putting those lessons into action by giving back to support children in foster care.
