The importance of customer service training is needed in every facet of life. Whether on the job
at home or just dealing with everyday life, we are always in the position of service. In a time
where customer service has become impersonal with the implementation of automated or robotic
help, people are feeling as if they don’t matter. And when they final get a live person on the line
who may not seem eager to help, only builds frustration in the one seeking help.
So, the importance of this customer service training class is to help individuals with in the
community develop communication skills that will help them in the work force. The class will
allow the attendants to learn how to set work standards and expectations for themselves. It will
also help them get a understanding of their roles and continued improvement of their skill sets
within a work environment. Irrespective of how skilled or talented an individual may be when it
comes to customer service, training is important to ensure that one is well-versed in order to
communicate professionally, patiently, and proficiently when dealing with clients or potential clients.

Classes will be offered in the evenings 1 day out of the week for an hours per day.

III. ACTIVE & CONSTRUCTIVE LISTENING
IV. STRATEGIC PROBLEM SOLVIING
V. TIME MANAGEMENT
VI. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS
“Top-notch” customer service skills are vital and critical in the 21st century and beyond. It can
make or break a company and determine the level of success a company can achieve. MYB will be the go between entity to help build strong relations between company’s and communities for continued growth in the work force!

Mastering Your new Beginning often begins with educating yourself and those around you. Educating our community about the importance of maintaining a higher standard of mental, physical, and emotional health is a primary goal of the MYB foundation. Our three-week class is designed to encourage testing, expand knowledge of bad and preventive habits, and build customized solutions to common disease and illnesses that plague our community. This class targets African American and LatinX areas but is open to all. The three-week course is divided into three 30-minute sections that will cover the following:
Class 1: Disease, Illness and Common Treatments
- Leading causes of death
- Importance of testing [BP/Glucose Checks On Site]
- Preventive habits
- How to seek help

Class 2: Diet and Lifestyle
- Identifying bad habits
- Identifying better meal and snack options
- Healthier cooking options
- Diet related disease
- Creating a illness-based diet plan
Class 3: Exercise Habits
- Creating better habits
- Benefits of exercise
- How to exercise
- Creating an exercise plan- setting goals
- Tracking progress
