Dane County School Consortium DCSC works collaboratively with 16 Dane County school districts and statewide programs to offer educational opportunities related to career exploration.

DCSC works together with community professionals to provide learning environments and experiences that prepare individuals to perform successfully in the workplace. A commitment to excellent instruction, coupled with continuous improvement will provide students a first rate occupational training program. We work collaboratively with 16 Dane County school districts and statewide employment programs

🔹 Elisa Reamer (Senior at Monona Grove High School)
Elisa is heading to Edgewood College to study Neuroscience on a Pre-Dentistry track. With a strong interest in science and a clear vision for her future, she’s on the path to making a lasting impact in the world of healthcare.

🔹 Noah Thompson (Senior at McFarland High School)
Noah is off to UW–Madison to pursue a degree in Nursing. Reflecting on his journey, he shares, “It allowed me to get in contact with people who were able to show me the realities of a career in nursing as well as all of the places a nursing degree can take you.” With this insight and passion, Noah is ready to make a difference in the world of healthcare.

🔹 Mackenzie Tschudy (Senior at New Glarus High School)
Mackenzie will be attending UW–La Crosse to study Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Her attention to detail and passion for patient care will serve her well in this vital and specialized field of medicine.

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on two incredible Education Youth Apprenticeship students who are already making a difference in the classroom!

Mackenzie Ohms from Belleville High School
Mackenzie brings energy, empathy, and creativity to every moment with her students. Whether she’s helping with lessons or connecting one-on-one, she’s growing her skills and inspiring young learners along the way.

Kalena Xiong from Sun Prairie West High School
Kalena has a natural talent for connecting with kids and creating a welcoming classroom environment. Through her apprenticeship, she’s building confidence, leadership, and the foundation for a future career in education.

We’re thrilled to showcase three more outstanding seniors who are ready to take on their next chapter! 🎓

🔹 Emma Chandre (Senior at McFarland High School)
Emma is heading to Winona State University to pursue a degree in Nursing. Her compassion and dedication to helping others will no doubt make her a phenomenal healthcare professional. We can’t wait to see her thrive in this rewarding field!

🔹 Ashlee Olson (Senior at Oregon High School)
Ashlee will be attending Colorado State University, where she’ll study Animal Sciences on the Pre-Vet Track. She shares, “Youth Apprenticeship solidified my decision to pursue the veterinary science field and invest the time and money into my long-term career goals. It has allowed me to have hands-on experience and build a base knowledge of all positions within a veterinary clinic." We’re so excited to see her passion turn into purpose!

🔹 Kseniya Prudnikovich (Senior at Memorial High School)
Kseniya will be taking a gap year to join the Wisconsin Air National Guard, where she’ll be specializing in Security Forces.

🔹 Owen Runkle (Senior at New Glarus High School)
Owen is continuing his journey with the Madison Carpenters Union Local 314 and Tri-North Builders through his Youth Apprenticeship. He shares, “Working in the trades has given me hands-on experience and a strong foundation for a career in construction.” We’re excited to see him keep building a great future!
