The Monona Community Festival is one of the largest and longest running July 4th celebrations in southern Wisconsin. Many different activities highlight this event including the Wisconsin Wife Carry Championship, the Taste of the Festival, a family-friendly carnival, Win $5000 at the Hole-in-One Contest, and our famous Art Fair in the Park.

Big fun is coming to the Kids’ Zone at the Monona Community Festival! From the new climbing wall and bungee trampolines to magic shows, face painting, glitter tattoo, hair tinsel, children’s musicians, and balloon twisting–there will be something for every kid to enjoy this year!

The climbing wall and bungee trampolines will be open:
July 3rd: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
July 4th: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Land your ball into the cup on the floating raft set approximately 95 yards out for a chance to win a $5,000 prize! Open July 3rd from 3:00 to 8:30 PM and July 4th from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Granny Shot will crown the weekend music on July 4th from 8:00 PM
to midnight!

Closing out the weekend with an ultra high-energy gig of your favorite alternative, hard rock and pop punk hits from the 90’s and 00 as well as some classics from the 70’s and 80’s!

Granny Shot carries the celebration through the evening with a mix of crowd favorites. They will pause for the fireworks before returning to finish the evening. Let’s Go!

Teams will race through the fun and challenging obstacle course in one of the most talked about events of the weekend, drawing a significant crowd and plenty of excitement!
