Tackle MS with Alex Tanney

This past Saturday, we were proud to host the 8th Annual Tackle MS with Alex Tanney ‘11 football camp. It was great to welcome Alex back to campus to share his knowledge, passion, and love for the game with the next generation, while also raising money for multiple sclerosis.

Despite the rainy weather, campers brought the energy all day long!

We’re grateful to provide opportunities like this for kids across our local communities! Who knows? Maybe these campers could be wearing the Fighting Scot uniform one day—just like Alex.

It is camp week! We can't wait to see everyone on Saturday for a fun morning of football, supporting a great cause!

Our event could not be possible without the support of the community. We would like to thank Papa's Bar and Grill, Maude Specklebelly's, Patton Block, Market Alley Wines and Scooter's Coffee for their donations of gift cards to our 2026 raffle! We will have TWO winners, each taking home $230 worth of gift cards! Tickets are $5 each and 100% of the proceeds will go towards our multiple sclerosis cause.

Tickets can be purchased at our event on June 27th from 10:30AM-12:30PM at Monmouth College's April Zorn Memorial Stadium. If you cannot attend, starting today until June 26th, for every $5 donation made online at www.tacklemswithalextanney.com a raffle ticket entry will be made for your name (ie. $5-1 ticket, $10-2 Tickets, $20-4 Tickets etc). TWO winners will be drawn at 12:30PM on 6/27 and winners will be notified that afternoon, if not present.
