What a fantastic start to the school year! 🍎✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first PTO meeting on Tuesday—it was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces and welcoming new ones to the group!

Here is a quick recap of what we covered:
📦 School Leadership: We had a great intro chat with our new principal, Mrs. Clark! Welcome to the team!
💰 Budget & Funding: Reviewed our tentative budget for the year and officially approved TWO funding requests for upcoming field trips and educational experiences! 🚌🎉
🤝 Sponsorship Drive: Discussed our proposed plan to partner with local businesses to support our students and school community.

Happy Back to School! 🎒✨ A huge welcome to all our returning families and a warm hello to those joining Monmouth Memorial for the very first time!

Whether you dropped off with a tear in your eye, cheered as the bus drove away, or celebrated a quiet house for a few hours, a new school year is officially underway!

The MMS PTO wants to extend a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table at Open House this past Thursday. We loved seeing all the familiar, smiling faces and meeting all the new students joining us at Monmouth Memorial this year! 💞

A special THANK YOU to the Cumston Public Library for generously donating our toy prizes, books, bookmarks, and bags! We hope everyone enjoyed spinning the wheel, cooling off with a popsicle, and catching up with old friends.

Wow, what an incredible turnout for the MMS PTO’s 1st Annual Kickball & Ice Cream Social! 🍦⚽

The PTO wants to send a huge THANK YOU to all of the students, families, and staff who came out yesterday to help us kick off the new school year.

A quick look at the fun by the numbers:

📌45+ enthusiastic students

📌2 awesome games of kickball

📌Countless ice cream sandwiches and popsicles enjoyed!

It was wonderful seeing our community come together, but the best part? Watching the older students take the younger ones under their wings on the field so everyone had a blast.

Whether you were kicking it on the field, cheering from the bleachers, catching up with neighbors, or hanging out on the playground—thank you for making it such a special event!

We can't wait to see you all again soon for the '26–'27 school year! 🎒🚌✏️✨

Back to school season is officially here, and we want to start it off together! ❤️

The MMS PTO invites all students, families, and staff to our Back-to-School Kickball Game & Ice Cream Social this Tuesday, August 18th!

Whether you want to jump on the field for a fun game of kickball or just cheer from the sidelines with some ice cream, there’s a spot for everyone. Ice cream will be provided for all attendees!

Location: MMS school grounds
