We are extremely proud to announce that 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 & 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 by the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine(SAM)!

The award was presented last night during SAM's Annual Banquet and is a tremendous honor for our club and its membership.

This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our members, officers, directors, volunteers, instructors, and supporters who continue to make Monmouth Fish & Game a strong and active part of our community. From hunter safety and youth programs to shooting sports, conservation, community events, and the continued improvement of our facilities, so many people contribute their time and talents throughout the year.

While the award may have Monmouth Fish & Game’s name on it, it truly belongs to 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂!

Thank you to the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine for this incredible recognition, and thank you to everyone who has played a role in the continued success of Monmouth Fish & Game.

Founded in 1941, our club has a long and proud tradition of promoting Maine’s outdoor heritage. Being named the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 is a wonderful addition to that history—and something our entire membership can be proud of.

Have you already completed your Hunter Safety course but want to hunt with a bow or crossbow? This class is for you!

The Archery Hunter Safety Addendum builds on the hunter education certification you've already earned and focuses specifically on the safe and ethical use of bows and crossbows. In just a half-day class, you'll gain the certification needed to purchase your Maine Archery Hunting License and enjoy Maine's archery season.

Course Highlights:

✅ First Archery Hunter Safety Addendum ever hosted by Monmouth Fish & Game
✅ Available to anyone 10 years of age or older
✅ Must already possess a valid Hunter Safety Certificate
✅ Only $5 to attend
✅ Class is limited to 30 participants – register early to reserve your spot!

During the class, students will:

🏹 Demonstrate safe bow handling skills
🏹 Participate in hands-on workshops and activities
🏹 Pass a written exam with a score of 70% or higher

Important Information:
• All students must have previously completed a Hunter Safety Course.
• Out-of-state participants must bring their physical Hunter Safety card or certificate as proof of completion.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸✨

Today, the Monmouth Fish & Game Association joins our incredible community in celebrating a truly historic milestone—the 250th anniversary of the United States! For two and a half centuries, the spirit of freedom, unity, and a deep appreciation for our beautiful land has shaped this great nation.

Our journey to independence was forged by the courage of everyday citizens. We trace our freedom back to the culmination of events that occurred in 1775 at Lexington and Concord, where the "shot heard 'round the world" ignited the American Revolution and proved that citizen-soldiers could stand firm for liberty.

As we gather with family and friends on this monumental 4th of July, we reflect on that brave legacy and the stunning natural heritage we are blessed to protect and enjoy right here in Maine. From our pristine lakes to our majestic forests, our outdoor traditions remain a fundamental part of the American story.

We hope everyone has a safe, joyful, and memorable Independence Day filled with fireworks, laughter, and gratitude. Here's to 250 years of freedom, community, and the great outdoors! 🎉

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, let us take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who never made it home.

From all of us at Monmouth Fish & Game, thank you to our fallen heroes and their families for their sacrifice and service.
