Our September Senior Nutrition activities are here! Join us for nutritious lunches followed by engaging programs designed for adults age 60 and older. It’s a great way to enjoy good food, stay active, and connect with others in a welcoming environment.

Good nutrition is an important part of staying healthy and independent as we age. Our Senior Nutrition Program helps address food security for older adults by providing nutritious meals to adults age 60 and older in Henderson, Mercer, and Warren Counties. Congregate meals offer an opportunity to enjoy a healthy meal and connect with others, while home-delivered meals are available for those who have difficulty getting out.

A big thank you to the amazing team from Marmon Renew for choosing Jamieson Community Center as one of their volunteer sites during their annual Community Day!

The team spent two hours helping us organize winter clothing in our thrift store garage. They sorted more than 25 bags of winter clothing by women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, while also separating winter coats and hoodies from the rest.

Their hard work was a huge help and will make it much easier for our thrift store team to organize and get winter clothing ready for shoppers. We are so grateful for their time, energy and willingness to give back to our community. Thank you, Marmon Renew, for spending part of your Community Day with us!

I love my job. I am so blessed to work at a place with endless opportunity to enrich people's lives and our community at the same time! With amazing support from our community and a board with a vision, over the past ten years we've expanded our existing programs and introduced new ones focused on personal and academic growth. With a current staff of 40, we are strategically adding a Director of Operations to our team. The new position will allow us to continue on our path forward. Interviews are in progress and we have MANY wonderful applicants. I am beyond excited!
