It's new world record AND a three-peat for Ruth Chepngetich at the 2024 Chicago Marathon!

The 30-year-old Kenyan ran a barrier-breaking 2:09:56, breaking the former world record by almost two minutes and winning the Chicago Marathon for the third time.
