🎄✨ It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… in Monmouth Beach!

We’re excited to announce that a beautiful new Black Hills Spruce will be making its debut at this year’s town Christmas tree lighting! 🌟

A special thank you to our friends at the Monmouth Beach Beautification Committee for making this wonderful addition possible through their hard work, dedication, and grant funding.

We can’t wait to watch this tree grow alongside our community and become part of our holiday traditions for years to come! ❤️🎄

💧 Every Drop Counts This Summer. ☀️🌿

As temperatures rise, so does the demand for water. Simple changes at home can make a meaningful difference in protecting New Jersey’s water resources while keeping your yard and garden healthy.

A few easy ways to conserve:
💦 Water lawns no more than twice a week
🌱 Choose drip irrigation or collect rainwater for plants
🏊 Cover your pool to reduce evaporation
🌼 Plant native, drought-tolerant landscaping
🚿 Reuse water from dehumidifiers or A/C units for outdoor plants

Small actions by each of us add up to a big impact for our communities and the environment.

Let’s work together to keep New Jersey green while using water wisely all summer long. 💙

🌳 Happy Arbor Day, Monmouth Beach! 🌳

Today we came together as a community to plant not one—but two trees—an Elm and a Serviceberry—growing pride, history, and hope for future generations. 🌱🌱

Alongside them, the Freedom Tree footstone stands as a meaningful reminder of our shared history. We encourage residents to stop by, take a moment, and appreciate these beautiful additions to our community. (Note: footstone will be set for longevity thanks to MB DPW!)

The Monmouth Beach Shade Tree Commission would like to thank everyone who made today so special.

A heartfelt thank you to Mayor Tim Somers and the Commissioners of Monmouth Beach, as well as Monmouth County Commissioner Erik Anderson, for your continued support.

We are grateful to the Monmouth County chapter of NJSSAR, especially President Jake Rue, for helping honor the significance of this day.

To the incredible students of Monmouth Beach School—your beautiful poems, heartfelt songs, meaningful words, sign language, and artwork made today truly unforgettable. 💚

Special thanks to the Monmouth County Shade Tree Commission, Monmouth Beach School teachers, custodians and administration, and Shady Tree Landscaping for helping organize and bring this meaningful event to life.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating and investing in our community’s future. 🌿
