Hey Visit Smith Mountain Lake 👋

We so appreciate your support! Thanks for the feature! 🥰

05/18/2026

Saturday was one of those market days that reminded us of EXACTLY why this event started. The booths were beautiful, the talent was overflowing, the conversations were meaningful, and the support from this community was something truly special. 🥹

Lakeside Local was created to be more than just a market. Our mission has always been to build a vibrant, welcoming, go-to-gathering place at Smith Mountain Lake where we celebrate small businesses and connect with our community. We are committed to creating an accessible, supportive environment where local entrepreneurs can grow and thrive. 💪

As an organization, we are dedicated to driving commerce within our community as well, creating a ripple effect of economic growth throughout the area. We’d say our mission was glowing this weekend as the messages from our vendors rolled in celebrating a big day in their businesses. ✨

Every vendor, every shopper, every shared post, every kind word, every “I’ll be back next month” moment helps us keep building something that feels joyful, intentional, and rooted in community. 🪾

To our market family: thank you for showing up with your creativity, your passion, and your small business hearts on full display. 💖

To our market guests: thank you for choosing local, cheering on small businesses, and making this market feel alive in the best way. ⚡️

To our Presenting Sponsor, Anchor Title SML & Headliner, Chrissie M. McNeil, Realtor-First Choice Real Estate, LLC— thank you for believing in this market!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making Lakeside Local such a staple to the perfect weekend at Smith Mountain Lake. This summer is going to be BIG! 😍

Together, we grow local. 🌱🩵🪴
