I've recently read 2 articles about people leaving the Christian faith. Most of what I read seems to be a lack of knowledge of God's Word, allowing false teaching to mislead. Unfortunately, many so-called "churches " & "Christians" have been poor examples of God and Jesus, causing many to doubt and fall victims to the lies of the world and the flesh. is denying God's Word and Truth.

INDEPENDENCE DAY -
We are celebrating the day that America chose to be free from the oppressive reign of government and started our own country, free to live and choose how we please. But, freedom without restraint leads to bo***ge, Being free to use credit for purchases can lead to the bo***ge of debt. The freedom to eat anything and as much as we want, with no or as much exercise as we choose, but poor choices can lead to health issues which overwhelm lives. We can choose to live according to the laws and procedures that are in place, or be in bo***ge to the difficulties and expenses which come from violations. There is the freedom of choice when it comes to what we believe in regard to the existence of the universe and people, but if we choose to disregard the evidences we have and choose to have faith in something other than the Word of God, then we can be in bo***ge to false religions and a future separated from anything good. Our founding Fathers knew that unless the population was internally guided by the Truth of God's Word, they would wind up in bo***ge to sin and trouble. That is why our congress was the first to publish and distribute the Bible in America for the education and wisdom which people need. The Word of God can help us be free from so many things which keep us from being all we were created and intended to be. is denying the Word and Truth of God.

Tonight we discussed actually knowing and having a personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ. Relationships require effort. In order to know God, we must read His Word to see What and Who He is, as well as who we are and our need for Him. His Word helps us begin to see and understand His Will. Jesus came bearing witness of Truth. (Jn 18;37). We are to also bear witness of the Truth of God's Word and be a light and an example of God to the world which needs Him. For God desires none to perish, but for all to come to Jesus with repentance and faith. (2 Peter 3:9)
