Mission Statement:
The Smith Mountain Eagles exist to instill and foster both life and basketball skills in boys 3rd -11th gradel. We believe that a strong athletic program leads to happier, healthier, and more productive kids. Improve skill sets both as individuals and as team players.
3. Compete, every time you step on the floor.
4. Grow these boys into responsible young men through the life l

essons learned in athletics.
5. Advance sportsmanship and teamwork in a fun, competitive environment.
6. Unify the best players from each of our elementary schools to begin learning the concept of team-together. Our Vision
Our vision for the program is to eventually help contribute to quality, competitive, varsity basketball teams that bring our community district, conference, regional, and state championships; as well as; young men that are honorable and productive members of our community.

Our young group wrapped up a brief season yesterday with a 2nd place finish in the Floyd County Tournament. For such a small and new group to travel basketball, they really had a great season. They finished at 4-5 in their 3 tournaments and played their best games yesterday.
Thanks so much to Coach Walls for putting them together and keeping them going in spite of some difficulty finding gym time.
Can't wait to see what this group can do in years to come.
