💜 NEW TO FREE STORE 15062? WELCOME! 💜

We’ve welcomed lots of new followers recently, so we wanted to take a moment to re-introduce ourselves!

Free Store 15062 is a completely volunteer-run, not-for-profit, community resource where we accept new and gently used donations and redistribute them completely free of charge. Everyone is welcome to come shop, no questions asked! 🫶

📍 Where to find us:
701 Schoonmaker Avenue
Monessen, PA 15062

Enter through the glass doors at the Schoonmaker Avenue entrance. Walk up the stairs, then turn left and we are the classrooms on the end.

🕙 Hours:
Saturdays | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We recently expanded into two classrooms, giving us more space and creating a better shopping experience.

(Our address and current hours of operation are always clearly listed in the Details section of our page 😉)

You’ll find clothing, shoes and accessories in one classroom, and housewares, dinnerware, home décor, linens, pet supplies, toys and more in the other! 🏠👚🧸

Each customer is permitted 5 items, but we will always work with you depending upon your specific needs.

A huge thank you to Remixxd by Steel City Galleries for their incredibly generous donation of merchandise to the Free Store! 🤗

Our awesome volunteer Kayla picked up the items, and we can’t wait to get them sorted and onto the shelves!

We are so grateful for the businesses and community partners who help make our mission possible. Your generosity helps us continue putting great items directly into the hands of our neighbors - completely free of charge! 🫶

We had a WONDERFUL visit with Kayla from the Free Store - Monessen this afternoon and learned about the AMAZING things they are doing for the community- at no cost! That's right. FREE! It's not just a clever name! 😆

Kayla took a huge batch of merchandise we were more than happy to contribute to this incredible program! We have much more to share, and would love to see it go to more worthy causes in our area. Just send us a message and we will set it up!

🎉 WHAT. A. DAY! 🎉

Today was truly one for the books at Free Store 15062! We had an incredible Grand Reopening and were SO excited to officially unveil our new setup! 🤍

We now have two classrooms for an improved shopping experience:

👚 Classroom #1: Clothing, shoes & accessories
🏠 Classroom #2: Housewares, dinnerware, home décor, linens, pet food & supplies, toys & more!

The additional space allows us to better organize donations, create a more welcoming shopping experience, and serve our community even better.

And then…98 CUSTOMERS came through our doors today! 🎉 That's officially the most people we've ever served in a single day!

A HUGE thank-you to our incredible volunteers who made today possible. From preparing the new space and sorting donations to unloading, stocking, welcoming shoppers, and keeping everything running smoothly - you are the heart of Free Store 15062 ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, partnered with us, and came out to celebrate today. What started in 2023 has grown into something far bigger than we imagined, and we're so grateful to our Monessen and surrounding communities for making it possible.

Here's to this exciting new chapter!✨
