Happy First Day of School, Mondovi Buffaloes!

As another school year begins, we wish all our students, teachers, staff, administrators, and families an amazing year ahead!

Our schools are such an important part of what makes Mondovi a special place to live, work, raise a family, and call home. We’re grateful for the teachers and staff who pour so much into our kids, the families who support them every step of the way, and especially our students who bring so much energy, curiosity, and Buffalo pride to our community.

Here’s to a year filled with learning, friendships, growth, big dreams, and lots of reasons to celebrate!

Have the BEST school year, Buffalos! 🦬💙

Your Mondovi community is cheering you on!

Congratulations to Abby George and Alan George on becoming the new owners of Gunderson’s!

We wish you both many, many years of success as you begin this exciting new chapter!

There’s something extra special about seeing local kids grow up, come back home, and continue the legacy of a successful business right here in the community that helped shape them. 💙💙💙

Congratulations, Abby and Alan! We’re excited to see what the future holds for you and for Gunderson’s. Please join us in wishing them all the best!

🍂 And just like that… we’re thinking FALL! 🍁

On September 25th, we’ll be teaming up with the Mondovi School District 5th graders for a fun fall tradition—creating scarecrows and decorating pumpkins to help bring some fall color and creativity to downtown Mondovi! The finished creations will be displayed downtown by the Mondovi Garden Club. 🧡

But first… we need a little help gathering supplies!

UPDATE: Thank you to Olson's Farm & Greenhouse for donating the pumpkins!! 🎃
We need approximately 46 pumpkins for the students to paint.

To create the scarecrows, we’re also looking for:

Long-sleeve button-up shirts
Hats
Scarves
Gloves

Doing a little closet clean-out before fall? Don’t toss those items—we can put them to good use! Donations can be dropped off at: Simply Rustic Boutique or Midtown Building Supply.

If you or your business would be willing to donate pumpkins, please send us a message here or contact Jessi Risler.

Thank you for helping us give the 5th graders a fun experience while making downtown Mondovi extra festive for fall! 🍂🎃🍁

Please share and help us spread the word!
