West Harrison TeamMates

We are doing TeamMates new mentor training at 5:15 tonight at West Harrison. If you are considering TeamMates, but aren’t quite ready to commit, feel free to join us. We won’t pressure you to become a mentor, and you will have the opportunity to see what it is all about before you decide.

West Harrison has 4 male students (2 seniors) and one female student who need mentors during the school year. Would you consider being a mentor? I love volunteering so much that I have two mentees.
Last year, I had three!

What does it really mean to be a mentor?

You don’t have to be a counselor.
You don’t have to be a tutor.
You don’t need an extraordinary career or all the answers.

You just need to be willing to show up, listen, encourage, care and believe in a student.

Sometimes, the most meaningful thing you can give a young person is your time, attention, and a positive adult friendship.

You could be the mentor a student needs!
