This page will keep you aware of the activities, events, projects, and more concerning the Moncks Corner Pan-Hellenic Council based in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. DeVetta Williams Hughes of Nu Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Other officers included Mrs. Martha Dixon of Berkeley County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. B. Vanish of Iota Beta Bet

a Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. All local chapters of sororities and fraternities were represented during the chartering. The first event was a Stop the Violence Forum for Berkeley County Youth at Moncks Corner AME Church. Currently, nine sororities and fraternities are represented in the council. They are:

Nu Alpha Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Xi Phi Lambda, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Berkeley County Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Kappa Alpha Zeta Chapter, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Lambda Nu Zeta Chapter, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Moncks Corner Alumni Chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Kappa Rho Sigma Alumnae Chapter, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Kappa Alpha Zeta Chapter, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Iota Beta Beta Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Each year, the Moncks Corner Pan-Hellenic Council awards a scholarship to a student in the Berkeley County School District. The Pan-Hellenic Council thanks you for your support in advance.

Happy Mother’s Day!!!

Today is also an important day for the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)! Happy 96th Founders’ Day to our parent organization, NPHC!!! 🖤🤍

Our Moncks Corner Pan-Hellenic Council kicked off last month with our In-Person Meeting & Fellowship at Stars & Strikes Family Entertainment Center!

We recognized our Spring 2026 neophytes! Congratulations again! We announced various NPHC member organization events, including our scholarship, social action through an open house with the police and voter education, and had food, fun, and fellowship!

The Iconic Iota Beta Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. won bragging rights for having the most members in attendance!

Black history is everyday!

We closed out Black History Month by attending Greek Sunday at Moncks Corner AME Church the last Sunday of February! The theme was “Celebrating Black Heritage Sunday: Salute to the Divine Legacy of Black Sororities and Fraternities!”

Our president, Kevin Barnes, a member of the Iota Beta Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., participated in the service by recognizing our fraternities while a member of the Berkeley County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. recognized the sororities as a salute to the Divine Nine organizations.

The speaker was Rev. Regina Samuel, associate pastor of Mt. Zion AME Church in Florence, SC and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

The Ques won last year, but they had to pass the torch to the SGRhos for having the most members in attendance this year! Bragging rights went to the SGRhos!
