National 4-H Week is almost here, and we’re celebrating with a fun-filled day at Tomlinson Run State Park! 💚

Join us for our Intro to 4-H Camp where we’ll explore 4-H opportunities, make memories, and celebrate our amazing 4-Hers! We’ll recognize members for their poster, photography, writing, and presentation contests, as well as their 4-H project accomplishments. 🏆

The fair runs from September 1-5.

Last night, we held our Demonstration Contest at the Hookstown Fairgrounds. Our only judged participant was Elana Lehocky. Elana is a member of the Bridger Beavers 4-H Club and the Beaver County Outdoor Club. She presented her demonstration on her pig project. 4-H leader, Dominic D'Egidio, helped her poster for her as she presented.

Four of our Cloverbuds also had the opportunity to either demonstrate a skill they learned this year or answer questions about animals they exhibited at the Cloverbud Livestock Exhibition held earlier this summer. These kids are 5 to 7 years old and cannot be judged yet but had no fear talking in front of a group of people and did a GREAT job! This was a great practice for them for future Demonstration Contests!

Yesterday, we had our first-ever Cloverbud Livestock Exhibition! There was a lot of commitment from our volunteers and 4-H families to make this event happen.
The youth members also attended meetings and learned about general animal raising practices! We are looking forward to next year! Thank you to everyone who helped!
