2026 Gladiolus Festival Royalty applications are now available!! The applications are available on gladfest.com, Momence High School and Jenier Elementary. Princess candidates must be attending 3rd, 4th or 5th grade next fall. Queen candidates must be attending their sophomore, junior or senior year next fall. Candidates must reside in the Momence school district. Prize money will be awarded for the winners in each category, along with their respective attendants. 2026 Queen will receive $500.00, her attendants will receive $250.00. 2026 Princess will receive $250.00, her attendants will receive $125.00. Also, by participating, candidates are eligible for one of the two $1000.00 scholarships that are awarded each year to graduating seniors from Momence High School from the Gladiolus Festival committee.

There will be a mandatory informational meeting on June 4, 6:30 P.M. at 21 North Banquet Hall. Please contact Christy Ritter, 815-514-4285, with any questions.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Glad Fest Cash Bash by buying tickets, working the event or cleaning up afterwards, we appreciate and love you all! Congratulations to the 2 big winners John Denton and Tom & Cindy Montemeyer who split the final 2 $4,500 prizes. Kevin Bonomar was the first ball drawn and won $500. Split the Pot drawings were won by Zoe Hess and Blaine MacDonald. The 70" TVs were won by LaShandre Adams and Sayia Tinoco. Dennis & Theresa English won a 2027 Glad Fest Cash Bash ticket in the Loser's Pool.
