Friends of Momence, IL Opposed to expansion of the Kankakee National Wildlife Refuge and Conservation Area. The proposed map This is our community, and it is worth saving.

Establishment of new Marshlands will potentially displace residents and shrink the tax base of our community and harm our schools. Many of the inhabitants of the above mapped area have lived their entire lives here. Friends of the Kankakee and U.S.Fish and Wildlife have targeted our community to make this happen. They want this Marsh, because it won't impact or inconvenience them.
