What if your greatest pain became your greatest testimony?

This Thursday at Celebrate Recovery, you’ll hear from my good friend, Rick German.

I’ve known Rick for more than a decade, and although our lives looked very different growing up, we shared the same deep hurt. God has redeemed both of our stories, and I can honestly say the Lord used Rick’s testimony to help bring freedom into my own life.

Rick’s story isn’t about how strong he became. It’s about how faithful Jesus has been.

If you’ve ever wondered whether God can heal deep wounds, restore broken lives, or give someone a brand-new purpose, you won’t want to miss this night.

BROKENNESS IS NOT THE END OF THE STORY.

This Thursday at Celebrate Recovery, Brother Bear will share his powerful testimony of how God met him in the middle of pain, loss, rejection, and hopelessness.

For years, Bear carried wounds that left him feeling alone and searching for answers. But when he reached the end of himself, he discovered som**hing life-changing: God’s grace was already reaching for him.

His story is a reminder that no matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, or what has been done to you, there is hope. There is healing. There is a God who never gives up on His children.

If you’ve ever struggled with hurts, habits, hang-ups, anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, shame, or simply feeling lost, this night is for you.

Come hear a real story of recovery, redemption, and the faithfulness of Jesus Christ.

“Broken”… flipped over to “Healing.”
“Addicted”… flipped over to “Free.”
“Lost”… flipped over to “Found.”

This past Sunday’s illustration at church was such a powerful reminder of what Jesus does in our lives.

And honestly…

👉 that’s what Celebrate Recovery is all about.

This Thursday night at CR, our lesson is called VICTORY.

We’ll be talking about surrender, renewing our minds, letting go of control, living one day at a time, and learning how true victory comes through Jesus Christ.

👉 Victory does not come from trying harder, hiding longer, or pretending stronger.

Victory comes through surrender.

If you’re struggling with hurts, habits, hang-ups, anxiety, anger, shame, addiction, control, grief, or just feeling stuck…

you are welcome here.

This is Candy.

Her story includes addiction, trauma, homelessness at 14, and being trafficked and abused in relationships where she was searching for love.

By all odds… she shouldn’t be here.

But she is, only by the Grace of God.

15 years free from m**h.
Almost 3 years free from ci******es.
And still standing—learning to trust God again, even after one of the hardest years of her life.

This isn’t a perfect story.
It’s a real one.

And if you’ve ever felt lost, broken, or like you don’t matter… you need to hear this.

You are not alone. Come see why.

04/21/2026

There’s a difference between knowing som**hing needs to change… and actually being ready to change.

A lot of people live right in that space.

You can see what’s not working.
You know what’s hurting you.
But som**hing keeps holding you back.

A lot of times—it’s fear.

This week in Celebrate Recovery, we’re talking about what it means to be entirely ready for real change.

Not perfect.
Not having it all figured out.
Just willing.

If you’re stuck between knowing and surrendering… you’re not alone.
