Someone needs to work on the site and update it. Sad to see nothing new on here.

To members of the 9th VA, we have lost a special friend. Carley Schultz passed away February 25th from pancreatic cancer. Carley and her husband Rod were members of the 9th for several years. Rod was the 9th VA's board chairman for several years.

From Cindy Hilchy:

I have a guy who is wanting to sell his Yakima wall tent and fly. Sounds like it comes with poles and ropes. He is asking $200 for it. Can you please pass along the info and if anyone is interested contact him. He lives in Salem and his name is William Duncan.

Very exciting news from Wambaugh and White!

We just received a pallet of cloth amongst which was 400+ yards of domet flannel! Woven from merino wool, this fantastic "shirt grade" domet will be our mainstay for years to come, and best of all, the quantity we were able to secure means that we will finally be able to sell domet flannel by the yard!!!

Give us a few days to set it up on the website. We'll make an announcement when it is available!

I will be cooking one way or another at Cheadle Lake. All pray for dry, please.

To all the dismounted and mounted. The training that was supposed to happen last weekend in Boring has been changed to this Saturday, May 9th. If you are interested in coming and doing some drill and shooting it would be a good place to practice. The horse drill will be in an outside arena and the shooting will be to help other horses get used to gunfire as well as remind some of our horses that haven't heard it in awhile. Which is only a couple maybe.
Contact me if you wish. KC
