To our servicemen and women, we say thank you. Come spend a day on the farm, on us.
Active military, veterans, police officers and firefighters get free admission to Pumpkin Fest. Just bring your active ID or veteran ID to the gate.
There's a piece of history here that makes this one feel right. The barn you'll walk through was rebuilt by hand in 1941 โ and one half of it was rescued from a neighboring farm before that land was taken to build the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant. Grandpa Frank Siegel took it apart, hauled it over, and put it back together with wooden pegs. It's still standing.
Eighty-five years later, we'd like to say thanks in the only way a farm really can: a day out in the country air, a hayrack ride, and a pumpkin to take home.
