Hey everyone! Marie here. I have some bittersweet news. As some of you may have read in my newspaper column this week, September is going to be our last month in the current space. It’s not goodbye forever, though, and we will be spending the rest of the year coming up with a plan to go mobile in 2024, which hopefully will mean we’ll be better able to make an impact in all of our Sierra foothill communities! 💖 We have one more weekend of local sustainable art for you, and a really cool visible mending class by environmental artist and master upcycler Marti James. Marti has sustainable art and clothing for sale, so please stop by on Sept 23 + 24 to check it out! Thanks for your support and I look forward to seeing you soon!

Stop by today to grab your FREE copy of , an all-ages comic book about life on a rural permaculture/art farm in Amador county. Then stop in and see our current exhibit, Nature’s Beauty! ✨Open Sat + Sun 12-4✨

From On the Farm Comics:
This comic series is not just any regular comic. It is all about promoting awareness of water and energy conservation, climate mitigation, emergency preparedness, relief, and recovery in rural communities throughout California. The series follows the lives of a quirky family living in upcountry Amador County, who are faced with the constant struggle of keeping their homestead safe from wildfires, floods, and other challenges that come with living outside the city. What makes this comic even more exciting is that it offers its readers the opportunity to add to the story. You can follow along with the comics, answer questions and quizzes, and even win some amazing prizes like sticker packs and patches.

‘On The Farm Comics’ is funded by the KDA Creative Corps and the California Arts Council.
