Our Story

*WELCOME TO LAFDAV! - REUNITING PETS WITH THEIR FAMILIES,AND HELPING THE ONES LEFT BEHIND" MISSION ************** In 2010 ,we can proudly say that we were the first Antelope Valley Lost & Found page - group - network founded in order to reunite pets with their families. We provided this platform in order to expedite the process of trying to locate a missing pet, and report pets who are found.Through our community cross information process, we find support,hope, and relief that we are all working together. As part of our mission this network was also formed in order to share stories, and to educate the community about proper animal care,the do's and dont's about re-homing a pet etc. Fast forward 3 years, the mission has became much deeper. Through out the journey ,we discovered a problem most people where not aware of,since then we have rescued animals in remote areas,secured abandoned, and stray pets into homes while attempting to find their families. We have raised money for medical treatments,spay-neuter ,vaccinations etc. We are also proud to say that we did this as private - independent rescuers,with the help of the individuals who restored our faith in humanity kind. We have been amazed by the amount of individuals willing to assist our beautiful pets in transition. As we march on, we have been blessed to witness miracles,divine interventions and accomplish what seemed to be impossible. It is because of this network,many have branched out to start their own rescue groups,and even though conflicted by the hopes we would form an everlasting, and unsurpassed union,we feel proud that pets are being helped. We continue to smile knowing there are more helping hands to help with this unseen by most crisis we continue to battle. OUR FIRST MOTTO WAS...The more eyes" the more hands"the more hearts....TOGETHER WE CAN! ....AND WE DID JUST THAT THE LATEST NEWS" We are beyond grateful to now have our own facility in order to safe guard the pets of the AV. ...... We are AGAIN" one of a kind!! Lost & Found Dogs of the Antelope Valley Headquarters,Adoption - Re-Home Agency - and Boarding Facility. We are here 7 days a week,open to the public for adoptions from 11:00AM - 5:00PM,as well as our recently launched program Walk - Run with our Pets which is going beautifully!!! We are starting the ball rolling, and soon our rescues will be going on the weekends to the local senior centers in order to give both parties lots of hugs and kisses ...stay tuned May God Bless the Rescuers, and THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ" WELCOME TO LAFDAV!
