Clear bags for Homecoming! 💛❤️

UPDATE: The parade and kickoff party have now been moved to Sunday October 11th due to forecasted rain this Sunday. If we do not hand out all the bags at Friday’s football game, we will still be there to distribute next Sunday. Stay tuned!

With the Governor Mifflin School District’s new bag policy now in place for sporting events, C the Light Foundation has purchased 100 clear drawstring bags that meet the new security requirements — and we’ll be giving them away FREE to our Mifflin community!

Look for us at the Homecoming Carnival following the parade Sunday evening and again outside the ticket booth before next Friday night’s Homecoming football game to pick one up while supplies last.

There is no charge for the bags. Our goal is simply to help make this transition a little easier for Mifflin families and ensure everyone can continue showing up to support our students and athletes. ❤️

If you’d like to make a donation to C the Light when you pick up your bag, we will of course gratefully accept it. Every contribution helps us continue supporting students, families, athletics and programs throughout the Governor Mifflin community. ✨

So proud to be a part of this special community and all the great things Governor Mifflin is doing!

The Governor Mifflin School District has been designated a Great Pennsylvania School by the Pennsylvania School Board Association. The recognition highlights districts that provide rigorous academic programming, serve as a centerpiece of their communities, demonstrate financial health and show resilience through planning and student support.

This event holds a special place in our hearts. 💛 Kyle proudly wore the Mustang jersey as a player and later spent eight seasons giving back as a coach, pouring his heart into the program and the young men who came through it.

We’re excited to help spread the word about the 4th Annual GM Hoops Golf Outing on Saturday, August 15 at Chapel Hill Golf Course. Proceeds benefit the Governor Mifflin High School Boys Basketball program and help provide opportunities for current and future Mustang players.

If you’re looking for a great day of golf while supporting local student-athletes, consider registering a foursome, becoming a sponsor, or sharing this post to help spread the word!

HUGE thank-you to everyone who participated in last week’s Conrad Classic. It was our most successful one yet - amazing weather, full course of golfers, fabulous raffle prizes and other fun contests, and best of all just good vibes and good company coming together to remember Kyle and raise over $40,000 for C the Light Foundation, carrying on his legacy in our community! We are beyond grateful to everyone who helped make this event happen.
