Thank you for joining us in prayer for the family to receive their shipment. The shipment was held up in customs, accumulating $16,000 in daily storage fees as challenge after challenge arose. Through God's faithfulness and perseverance, the shipment has finally been released, and the family now has their belongings. This victory belongs to the Lord—prayer, faith, trust, and diligence saw us through. We are truly grateful for His goodness and provision. It is good to see them with their necessary medical supplies and equipment, as well as their special memories and personal belongings. God is good.

I am writing on behalf of Joao, Cilene, and Sidnei!

They want to express their heartfelt thanks for all the help and prayers they have received. They are so grateful. It has been wonderful to be home and reunite with family and friends, enjoy Brazilian food, love their pets, return to school, and speak their own language. Still, they miss their time in the States and the wonderful people thy call family.

They have faced a few setbacks—so let’s call these prayer requests! Their 22-year-old car is finally ready for retirement, even after investing what they could into repairs, so they are currently without transportation. They are still looking for new jobs, and the shipping container we sent is still stuck in customs. We need that shipment released—it holds medical supplies, equipment, and their personal belongings.

What they have in abundance is love, gratitude, and a deep sense of being cared for. For these gifts, we are all truly grateful!

Joao, Mom, and Dad are settling back in. JP received a scholarship to return to the school he attended before, and they had a big welcome-back party!
