NAMI Stanislaus

NAMI Stanislaus Operating since 1990 as a non-profit organization NAMI Stanislaus promotes mental health services in the Stanislaus County areas.

NAMI Stanislaus helps people with mental illness, their families and the community by providing emotional support, education and advocacy for those suffering from mental illness. Our goal is to reduce stigma and to improve services by partnering with mental health agencies, persons with mental illness and family members.

NAMI Stanislaus or the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Stanislaus County began in 1989 when a group of concerned family members banded together to provide support to each other and their loved ones with mental illness. In 2002 NAMI Stanislaus gained its 501 C3 nonprofit status and also became an affiliate of the national NAMI organization.
