NAACP Modesto Stanislaus

NAACP Modesto Stanislaus Our work does not end there. Each year we plan a series of community outreach and fundraising events.

The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race. The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial dis

crimination. We are a non-profit organization, all officers and executive committee members at the local and conference level work on a volunteer basis to defend those who cannot defend themselves. We are successful because our members participate and we receive support from the greater community. However, it takes more than a great plan; it takes great people to see that plan through. NAACP Modesto Stanislaus Branch 1048 knows that strength not only lies in our words, but in our actions as well. We have set out on a mission to help heal the world, and will not quit until our job is complete. Founded in 2000, the NAACP Modesto/Stanislaus Branch 1048 inspires action, serves donors ,and supports communities. Weโ€™re driven by a firm belief in the power of humanity, and we will do anything it takes to make an impact.

It is with deep sadness and profound respect to share the passing of our lifetime member and former president of the NAACP Modesto/Stanislaus Branch, Gladys Williams.

As we honor her legacy and decades of advocacy in civil rights and social justice, let us all continue to do the work that she so passionately believed in.
