A 40+ Year Legacy For over 40 years, Community Christmas Tree has been a cornerstone of support for families in Modesto, Ca. What began as a small group of community members coming together to help those in need has grown into a movement of generosity and care. We’ve seen generations of families benefit from this program—and we’ve also seen the powerful legacy of service that it inspires. Celebrating Community Partnerships
Every community is strengthened by the partnerships that support it. Through collaboration with organizations like Rotary, Soroptimists, and countless volunteers, we’ve been able to reach over 2,200 children across Stanislaus County this year. These partnerships are more than just support—they are the heartbeats of what we do. Together, we build stability and opportunity for families, creating a ripple effect that extends far beyond this holiday season.
It’s a privilege to serve alongside so many who are committed to making a meaningful difference. We are stronger together.

COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS TREE - 2025
“TWAS THE DAY AFTER”

It’s been 41 years, helping our kids,
Amazing to know over 102,000 we did!

We loved hearing stories, quite a few this year…
Some of them, were on our Tree as a child,
return as adults, to shop for a while.
And bringing their children along to see
that giving to others is how it should be!
They thank us again, as they fondly remember
the hope and joy they received that December

SO…as we complete our 41st year,
it was 2250 we helped, with cheer!

Our elves worked so hard to fill all the shifts, giving the time needed to process these gifts.
It does “take a village” of that we’re aware
networking and spreading the wonder we share.
Always working to find volunteers, and hoping you’ll find time to join us next year!

We hustled and bustled to fill needs and wishes, more often with hits, than times with misses. We had nine children, that no one selected,
But as you know we take great care
to make up their gifts, with only moments to spare!

As we envision each child to receive,
the ‘gift of hope’, so they can believe there is good in this world and people who care,
and we hope this gives them faith,
which for some may be rare!

So, we thank those who helped, with gratitude and love,
and hope that you know, you are blessed from above.
Now, as we settle and recharge as we’ll do,
we rest and smile as we say, Merry Christmas to you!

In looking it over, we rose to great heights.
So, “THANKS TO YOU ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!”

Thank you for including us yet again in your annual toy drive. Is generous donations like these that help fill our surplus for this year and years to come. Every year we have some tags that don’t get taken so it’s up to us and our Processing Room Elves to help “shop” for the child using donated toys and clothing that our community helps provide. We sincerely appreciate you ❤️💚

We have over 200 children still remaining on our Tree and our last day is this Thursday! We desperately need your help🙏🏼 PLEASE visit our Kiosk on the second level at Vintage Faire Mall just above Santa!  These children really need your support❣️ We thank you in advance for your generosity!
And remember, it’s people like you that can make a difference in our world… And more importantly, in the lives of one of these children!
So we’ll see you out there, select a child, check out your tag with one of our volunteers and do some wonderful shopping for a child in need.
