The Mother Lode Mineral Society is one of the premier gem and mineral clubs in Central California with a prize winning monthly publication called the Ghost Sheet and one of the largest annual Gem, Mineral and Fossil shows in the state. Our meetings are generally on the first Sunday of the month (except for July and August) at the Tuolumne River Lodge in Modesto, 2429 River Road, beginning at 1:15 for the juniors and 2:30 for the general meeting.

Peninsula Gem & Geology Society and Sequoia Gem & Mineral Society

will host their joint annual Gem & Mineral Show at the Redwood City Communities Activities Building:
1400 Roosevelt Avenue
Redwood City, CA 94061

Saturday and Sunday, October 10-11, 2026
10am - 5pm each day
adults $6, children under 12 free with adult

There will be display cases of our clubs' lapidary classes, field trips, jewelry and member interests. Dealers will be selling hand crafted jewelry, gemstones, fossils, mineral specimens, collectible rocks for home display and other items.

All children get a free ticket for the Treasure Wheel for a free prize!
