So glad to see this! Can’t wait to see the results.

You’ve been patiently waiting, and we’re excited to share that the Modesto Library is now set to reopen in early January!

As many of you may have heard, the project experienced some delays, but we’re delighted to confirm that Monday, Jan. 11, will be our first full day of operations upon reopening. We can’t wait to welcome you back into our renovated building where we can create, learn, and discover together.

Since we can’t wait until January, we’re thrilled to share updated progress photos, including images of the in-progress Children’s Room, main floor, study rooms, and quiet reading room, which you can find on our Instagram () or our website at https://www.stanislauslibrary.org/modesto_library.shtm.

A grand reopening celebration and ribbon-cutting will be held to commemorate the occasion, and you’re invited! Keep an eye on our website (link in bio) for event details once they are finalized.
