The Juline Foundation for Children

Our Mission is to provide all children in our community who have a desire to perform and be self-expressive, the opportunity to do so through dance.

Our single most valuable resource is our young people. Children are powerfully affected by storytelling, music and dance. It is our belief that the performing arts should be part of every child's experience. Our outreach dance programs fill a critical void for our youth who may not have otherwise had the exposure or opportunity to experience what it means to be self-expressive through dance. Fortu

nately, the value of arts education is widely accepted and has been proven to: help build academic skills, improve critical thinking, increase logical reasoning, increase spatial awareness, improve self-esteem, build creative skills, assist with discipline, improve rhythm and coordination, help with team building and improve creative expression...all of that and more!

Hello, September! 💚
 A new month means a new season of Minds in Motion is about to begin, and we are so excited to head back into our local schools!
 This year so far, we’ll be bringing dance to all grade levels at Catherine Everett Elementary and third-grade students throughout Sylvan Union School District elementary schools, giving so many students the opportunity to move, create, build confidence, and experience the joy of dance right at their school.
 We can’t wait to see all the smiling faces and kick off another incredible season of Minds in Motion! ✨

Our Soaring Stars are BACK! ⭐️💙

Last week we kicked off our first practice of the season with a little painting, lots of laughs, and of course, some dancing! We even started learning a fun routine to Michael Jackson! 🎨💃

There’s something so special about having our Soaring Stars back together again, and we can’t wait for everything this season has in store!

Here’s to another year of dancing, creating, growing, and shining together! ⭐️

 Tonight we officially welcome our Soaring Stars back for their first practice of the season, and we couldn’t be more excited!
 We can’t wait to see those familiar faces, welcome new Stars, get back to dancing, and watch this group grow together throughout the year. There are so many exciting things ahead, and we can’t wait to share the journey with all of you!
 Here’s to another amazing season of dancing, confidence, friendships, and lots of shining moments! 🌟

What does your ticket to Expressions Uncorked actually help make possible? 🍷✨

It helps put dance instructors inside local schools through our Minds in Motion program, giving children the opportunity to experience dance right on their own school campus.

It helps keep Soaring Stars completely free for participating dancers, providing weekly dance instruction and opportunities to perform throughout the year.

It helps cover the costs that come with giving children a real performance experience — including costumes, theater expenses, performance shirts, photography, and more.

And ultimately, it helps us continue removing the financial barriers that can keep children from experiencing dance and the arts.

That’s the WHY behind Expressions Uncorked. 💜

You get to spend an incredible evening at Zinc House Farms enjoying w**e, food, local art, entertainment and community — while helping us continue providing these opportunities to children throughout our area.

At the Juline Foundation for Children, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover those qualities through the joy of dance. The lessons learned in the studio and on the stage often become the same lessons that help children thrive in the classroom and beyond.
