Tomorrow, June 6th, Is National Gardening Exercise Day.
Did you know that activities like digging, raking, and shoveling work those arm muscles, while planting and weeding engage your core and lower body? The repetitive movements involved in gardening can increase your heart rate and help you burn calories. Who needs an expensive gym membership when you have a backyard full of plants?
Let's all get outside and play in the garden!

Today is International Day for Bio- Diversity. Here are a few tips to bring Biodiversity to your home garden.
-Reduce turf and remove invasive plants
-Choose native plants when possible
-Grow a variety of plant life - flowers, veggies, trees, and shrubs
-Cultivate plants that bloom and seed at different times of the year
-Provide a source of water such as fountains and birdbaths
-Let nature be nature - let leaves stay, allow dead branches to remain, etc.
-Let all the creatures become a part of your garden - insects, birds, lizards, toads, and more!
