📣 CVGPC 2021 VIRTUAL SHOWCASE ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
These events are open to any and ALL! You do not have to be a current CVGPC member to participate. CVGPC hopes this will provide anyone that wishes to be creative and perform (virtually), the opportunity to do so! See below;

After much discussion, given all the changes that have come over our area with regards to extended stay-at-home orders, the lifting of the stay-at-home orders and the inability for most of our membership to hold effective rehearsals under current and past guidelines, CVGPC has found it necessary to adjust our 2021 Season, and we are confident that this will be the final adjustment that we will need to make.
We hope that we are able to offer performance opportunities to our region in whatever capacity is most viable for you. Our main mission is to keep students connected to our activity, to keep performing and, of course, to continue their passion for the pageantry arts! Please find information for performance opportunities below.
🎭 Showcases
CVGPC will offer a live broadcast of all submissions and offer an open chat feature so that our performers can see live feedback from their fans! All submissions will be considered exhibition and, at the unit's request, may be offered feedback from our adjudicators based on a festival rating system. This will not be competitive in the traditional sense.

We hope to offer categories for any and all variations of performances that fit the capacities of your program under COVID-19 guidelines, including but not limited to:
Solo Guard & Percussion
Duet Guard & Percussion
Small Ensemble Guard & Percussion (2-9 performers)
Large Ensemble Guard & Percussion (10+ Performers)
Single or Multi-Cam, edited or unedited
💻 Registration - March 1
We understand that everyone in our community is working with a group under different circumstances and may have very little idea of where your programs may land come March, so we will push registrations back to March 1. Submissions will be due one-week prior to our broadcast.
🗓 Showcase Dates
Showcase 1 - Saturday, March 27
Showcase 2 - Saturday, May 1
💰 Fees
Feedback Fee: $10
Non-Feedback Fee: FREE
*There is no penalty for dropping a show, however, feedback fees will not be refundable if dropping within 7 days of the broadcast*

We hope that these Virtual Showcases might offer your performers an outlet to continue the art that used to bring them to school everyday and we hope that, even if your full program cannot take part in the activity, that you may have a few that would benefit from a chance to show their skills to our community!
