The Modesto Red Shield is a community center in the heart of South Modesto where youth and adults enjoy a variety of activities from boxing, basketball, swimming, and scout programs. The Red Shield is open Monday through Friday from 8am - 7pm with programs for seniors and adults including Zumba and from 2:30 -6:30 for afterschool programs and public use. There is a small membership fee for using

the facility, but the Red Shield offers free programs like our Teen Night which is every Friday night from 6pm -8pm.

Beat the heat and dive into a summer of safe swimming with us and TID. On June 18 and July 31, Turlock Irrigation District’s Swim for Free with TID program is covering the entry fee for all swimmers during our open swim from 1 to 3 p.m. & 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Let’s make a splash and stay safe all summer! Entry is subject to pool capacity, rules and regulations of the pool. For more information, visit //TID.org/swimsafe.

The pool has been remodeled and upgraded with some maintenance over the last few weeks.

Lifeguards are getting training in to prep for our swim season starting June 22nd.
