On Thursday at the Kiwanis Club of North Modesto meeting at Fuzio‘s, we honored the radio station 105.5 the River for 20 plus years of helping us grow the American Graffiti festival. Doug Wolf and Jim Bryant accepted the award from Bill Heyden, the music coordinator for the festival, and all of North Modesto Kiwanis. Roman also has been there for us for the live broadcast, missing a live broadcast only twice in 20 years. Thanks Roman!! ✌️🤘

Community is what this entire event is all about.

All of the time, effort, and energy that goes into putting this event together is worth it when moments like this bring people together.

Every year, our Chief of Police leads the parade in a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, and this year his vehicle experienced an issue and stalled on McHenry. Without hesitation, members of the Bay Bombs Car Club and other patrons jumped in to help. They worked alongside officers, jacked the car up, got it into neutral, and safely moved it off the road so the parade could continue.

It’s a simple moment, but it perfectly represents what the American Graffiti Festival is all about…neighbors helping neighbors, car enthusiasts supporting one another, and a community coming together when it’s needed most.

So many incredible acts of kindness and teamwork happen throughout the weekend, often behind the scenes. Thank you, Modesto, for allowing us to be a part of this amazing tradition and for continuing to show what community truly means. ❤️🚗🇺🇸

Thank you to all the car owners, visitors, vendors, volunteers, entertainers, community partners, and everyone else who played a part in making this weekend’s show such a success!

We’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and enthusiasm each of you brought. It truly takes a community to make an event like this happen, and because of all of you, it was a fun, memorable weekend. Thank you for being part of it! we couldn’t have done it without you! 🚗✨🎶
