Grab your calendars! Save the Dates.

We need all members ( and families/friends) from 4-6pm next Wednesday, 9/9 to come and Pack-the-Lot during mediation between MTA and MCS. Wear your Union Blue, grab a sign, we even plan to feed you! A taco truck will be there sponsored by MTA.

Saturday, 9/12 there is a scheduled precinct walk. Members will meet at the MTA office, grab a little breakfast, and head out. Members will “walk and Drop” information and meet back at the office by noon for lunch.

Sign up by this Friday 9/4 on the MTA website if you plan to come to the Welcome Back Picnic. This year will be held at Downey Park on Thursday, 9/24 from 4:30-7:00 pm. Families are welcome. Please RSVP by this Friday (tomorrow) if you plan to attend. This will ensure there is plenty of food available.

Meet Nefi Lopez. Nefi is running for MCS School Board District 1 and is endorsed by MTA.

As a parent, community member, and advocate for our students, Nefi believes every child deserves access to a quality education, every teacher deserves the support they need to succeed, and every family deserves transparency and a voice in the decisions that impact our schools.

Tonight is Back-to- School Night for our high schools. Calling all Elementary, Junior High and off campus MTA members, community members and families to come tonight to Enoch’s. If you cannot be there the whole time, no worries! Drop in and stay as long as you can. 4:45-6:15 pm tonight. We will see you there!
