âš˝ INTRODUCING THE NORCAL FAIR PLAY CARD!

One game. One card. One great example of fair play!

NorCal is launching a new initiative at the U9 and U10 Round 2 & Quarterfinal events to recognize the players who make soccer about more than just the score.

During each game, referees will award one Fair Play Card to the player who best demonstrates respect, integrity, kindness, inclusion, and positive leadership. đź’™

The Fair Play Player of the Game doesn’t have to score the winning goal or be the most skilled player. This recognition is about character, not performance.

We’ll also be tracking Fair Play Cards on a club-wide leaderboard throughout the launch weekends!

Let’s celebrate the little moments that make a big difference and show what our game is all about.

One game. One card. One great example of fair play!

Another fantastic turnout for our NorCal Premier Soccer Coach Education session, led by Gordon Young! âš˝

This time, we were in Monterey, with Monterey Surf Soccer Club serving as our hosts.

A huge thank you to Monterey Surf for their hospitality and for providing an excellent facility at Cal State Monterey Bay. Special thanks also to the U16–U18 girls who participated as demo players and helped make the session a success!

We appreciate everyone who came out to learn, share ideas, and continue developing as coaches.

Better Coaches. Better Players. Better Game.

âš˝ Fantastic Night of Coach Education in Fresno!

Over 100 coaches came out tonight for a FREE coach education session with Gordon Young, current Emerging Talent Scout at Tottenham Hotspur!

An incredible opportunity for coaches to learn from Gordon’s wealth of knowledge and experience, with valuable insights and practical ideas to take back to their own teams and players.

đź‘Ź A huge thank you to Central Valley Fuego FC for hosting, ALBION SC Central Valley for providing the players, and of course Gordon for delivering an outstanding session.

Great to see so many coaches committed to their continued development and growth of the game!
