In 2024, su***de-related deaths were four times higher among males than females.

This , let’s remember that seeking help is a sign of strength. By supporting one another, fighting su***de, and challenging stigma, we can build a future where no one suffers alone.

For LGBTQ+ people, being seen, valued, and supported can make a profound difference. At AFSP, we know that connection, belonging, and affirming environments are powerful protective factors for mental health and su***de prevention.

This month, we're sharing a series of Pride affirmations because everyone deserves to hear these reminders:

✨ I am enough just as I am
✨ My authenticity is my superpower
✨ I can do hard things
✨ I am worthy of love and respect
✨ I deserve to live a life without fear
✨ I am beautiful just the way I am
✨ And so much more

Whether you're LGBTQ+, an ally, a family member, or a friend, we hope you'll carry these reminders with you and share them with someone who may need them.

Which one speaks to you? Let us know in the comments πŸ’™
