Hi there!
My name is Camrynn, founder of Santa for Scholars. I’m a strong lover of coffee, Tjmax hauls and unnecessary hobby lobby trips. 🙈 More importantly, serving others and giving back makes me the happiest.
You might be new, or original supporters… either way, I want to thank you for following us along our mission to serve our kiddos in Stanislaus County.
In 2020 I was fortunate enough to land my dream job as a teacher. Yes, the year our world was shut down! Never did I imagine teaching my sweet students through a camera, but we made it work! My family and I wanted to give back in some capacity during the holidays as it was a tradition of ours. If you know us, you know we can’t help but go large. So, I rallied up my amazing colleagues and in TWO weeks gathered $3,500.00 to provide Christmas to our students in need. I couldn’t stop there, so we continued the tradition the following year and raised $7,500.00.
By 2022, I had filed to fulfill my dream of running a nonprofit.
The state granted me rights to formally own our organization and today I stand by the most incredible people I am fortunate enough to call my board. More than that, they are family! ❤️ My vision was big, but never did I think it would become this big. I owe it all to my team.
Because of my family, friends, our community and the number of prayers, we have successfully just completed our FOURTH year of giving.
Over 400 children have been gifted in our four years and nearly $25,000.00 has been raised between donations and items gifted.
We have SO MUCH MORE in store and we cannot wait to share it all SOON!
