Backpack Drive time at Hst is coming around again! This has become a special event! It's not only an opportunity to get needed school supplies to families who are struggling, but it's a chance to share the love of Jesus with kids and parents as well!

Spent some time getting refreshed in God's creation. It was so amazing and awesome. Yet, my mind was brought back to the brokenness of this world. It's disheartening to see, right in the midst of beauty, people walking in darkness! Let's just say that I was not only physically and spiritually rejuvenated! I was spiritually rejuvenated as God reminded me that I need to bring the "Light" into the darkness! At H Street ministries, it is our goal to bring the light to the community we serve. However, this requires funds. We already have so many gracious givers, but with the cost of living so high, we can always use you! God never ceases to amaze me! He provides in so many ways, but I think my favorite is when he provides through his people! Here at Hst we do a variety of things to reach out to the broken and lost of this world. Feeding the hungry stomach is vital, but feeding the hungry soul is eternal! Help us as we make it our mission to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Wednesday is my favorite day at Hst ministries! Each week I get to be a witness to God's rich bounty, as He consistently provides. I also have the honor of praying with people. Sometimes, I cry , laugh or share in their deepest needs. I get to share Jesus with them and have the opportunity to see them come to know Jesus!
