The mission has always been about people.

From the SOTC archives at Modesto Gospel Mission.

Sometimes ministry happens in a conversation, a handshake, or a moment of prayer.

Every person we meet has a soul. Every soul needs the Savior.

And the hope we carry isn't found in us. It's found in Jesus Christ, who came to save sinners.

Romans 5:8

Repent and believe the Gospel.

An unexpected opportunity to pray.

In October 2024, during an outreach on the Yavapai-Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona, Soldiers of the Cross Modesto had the privilege of serving at the invitation of Duane “Dog” Chapman.

While we were there sharing the Gospel in the community, a Yavapai-Apache police officer stopped by to see what was happening.

A conversation followed. Then came an opportunity to pray with him.

We didn't know that encounter was coming. But God did.

God brought us there. He used the motorcycles to get us there. And He opened the door for another opportunity to share the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

That's why we go. Not for the ride, not for recognition, but for the opportunity to proclaim the Gospel to whoever God places in our path.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” — Romans 1:16

All glory to Jesus Christ.

BROTHERS IN CHRIST.

From the SOTC archives — a run to Fort Bragg, California, and an evening of fellowship at Roger's place up on the hill.

Different backgrounds. Different stories. One Savior.

“Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

The fellowship matters. So does the work God has called us to do.

Jesus Christ is King. ☝️

CHRIST IS KING. ☝️

Not just on the mountaintops. Not just when the road is smooth.

In every circumstance, Jesus Christ is King.

TIJUANA, MEXICO 🇲🇽

God brought us to the gate.

God opened the door.

God took us inside.

God put it on our hearts to go.

Behind those walls, young men heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our brother Miguel Toro was given the opportunity to proclaim the Gospel. When the invitation was given, every young man raised his hand.

We couldn't take photographs inside the youth detention facility, but what happened there is why we came.

We went in obedience, trusting God with the opportunity and the outcome.

All glory belongs to Jesus Christ. ☝️🙌

THE ROAD TO TIJUANA 🇲🇽 | SOTC 🏍️

Last Friday, we headed south toward Tijuana, Mexico.

Miles of highway, brothers riding together, and a mission waiting on the other end.

We weren't riding just to ride. We were headed to a youth detention facility with the opportunity to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

God opens the doors. Sometimes He lets us ride our Harleys through them.

Here's a little of the journey along the way.

TIJUANA, MEXICO 🇲🇽 | THE GOSPEL BEYOND THE WALLS

Soldiers of the Cross had the privilege of ministering to young men at the Centro de Internamiento para Adolescentes, a youth detention facility in Tijuana, Mexico.

Our SOTC brother, Miguel Toro, was selected to deliver the Gospel message to these young men.

Behind those walls were young men who needed to hear the same Gospel that every one of us needed to hear.

The message was clear: Sin separates us from God, but through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, forgiveness and salvation are offered to those who repent and believe.

When the invitation was given, every single one of those young men raised his hand.

Praise God! 🙌☝️

Due to the facility's security and privacy protocols, cameras were not permitted in certain areas. We have no footage of the young men, but that doesn't diminish what took place inside.

After leaving the facility, we stopped for fuel. A police officer pulled up, and what began as a conversation became another opportunity to share our faith and pray over him.

Two encounters. Different circumstances. The same Gospel.

We're grateful for every opportunity God gives us to proclaim Jesus Christ.

All glory belongs to Him.

On the way to Tijuana.

A stop along the road became another opportunity for prayer, fellowship, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The mission doesn't begin when we reach our destination. Wherever God opens a door, we want to be faithful to walk through it.

One soul at a time.

All glory to Jesus Christ. ☝️💯✝️

Sometimes the most important thing happening isn't what draws the crowd.

It's one person surrounded by people who care enough to stop, listen, and pray.

That's why we go. That's why we ride. Not to be seen, but to make Jesus Christ known.

The location changes. The Gospel doesn't.

ONE BY ONE. WON BY ONE.

Christ is King! 💯☝️
