Creating opportunities to bring joy and hope to people who need it most. We seek to make a difference in a world of many needs. It starts with you!

The Gilliland Foundation was established in late 2017. Our conviction is that no matter what you face each day, you have to remain determined to find a way to bring joy and hope to people who need it most. We don’t know what challenges face the people we meet. However, we do have the power to bring someone hope, if only for a moment. That hope can multiply a thousand times. Our foundation was created to make a difference and inspire people everywhere to be the difference. We believe that one person can change the world.

Today, we remember the innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders, volunteers, and everyday people who came together in the face of tragedy. We also reflect on the strength, compassion, and unity that carried our communities through that difficult time, and that continue to inspire us today.
