Rotary Club of Mocksville Over 80 years servings Davie County, and even the world! The Rotary Club of Mocksville was established in 1945.

Our motto, Service above Self, is extended through club service, vocational service, community service and international service. We meet weekly on Tuesdays at noon in the Energy United Training Center located at 182 South Salisbury Street in Mocksville.

Mocksville Rotary was pleased to welcome Courtney Cabe, Piedmont Rotary District 7690Youth Services Chair, to our recent meeting.

Courtney shared the impact of Rotary Interact Clubs, which are service organizations for young people ages 12–18 that inspire leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to helping others.

Several members of Mocksville Rotary were honored to attend and support The Dragonfly House’s annual Share the Love Gala at the Millennium Center in Winston-Salem.

The evening celebrated the incredible work of The Dragonfly House Children’s Advocacy Center and the community’s commitment to protecting and supporting children and families affected by abuse.

The event helped raised funds to support vital services including forensic interviews, advocacy, counseling, medical examinations, prevention education, and other resources provided at no cost to children and families in our region.

Thank you to The Dragonfly House, its staff, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters for making a lasting difference in the lives of children throughout Davie, Davidson, and surrounding counties.

We are proud to support this important mission.

In April, members of the Mocksville Rotary Club were honored to show our appreciation for the dedicated professionals at the Mocksville Telecommunications Call Center during National Telecommunications Week.

Our club provided breakfast as a small token of gratitude for the hard work, commitment, and service these team members provide every day. Whether answering calls, assisting customers, or keeping communication lines open, their efforts make a difference in the lives of so many.

Thank you to the telecommunications professionals who serve our community with excellence and care. We are grateful for all that you do!

Mocksville Rotary had the pleasure of hearing from the principals of Davie High School, Cindy Stone, Davie Early College High School, Samuel Brown. Thank you Rotarian and Davie County Schools Superintendent Dr. Heath Belcher for coordinating this.

It was inspiring to learn about the incredible opportunities available to students and the many ways they are engaged in community service, leadership, and events throughout Davie County.

The Mocksville Rotary Club proudly celebrated a remarkable milestone this week—our 80th Anniversary!

It was a special evening filled with fellowship, reflection, and celebration as we welcomed the District 7690 Governor as our honored guest Mark Brandon. We also recognized our Paul Harris Fellow award recipients for their outstanding commitment to Rotary’s mission of service above self.

The evening marked an exciting transition in leadership as we officially inducted our new Club President, Monica D. Stone-Huggins along with her Executive Committee.
We look forward to another year of serving our community under their leadership.

A heartfelt thank you to The Junker family for allowing us to use their special space. Surrounded by beautiful antiques and pieces of Mocksville’s rich history, it provided the perfect setting to honor our past while looking ahead to the future.

Here’s to 80 years of service, friendship, and making a difference in our community—and many more to come!
